Sub-processors
Last updated August 19, 2026
To run Tempry we rely on a small number of third-party providers. Where a customer's data reaches one of them, that provider acts as a sub-processor: it may process the data only to provide its service to us, under a contract requiring it to protect the data and never use it for its own purposes.
This page lists every current sub-processor. We'll update it before adding a new one.
| Provider | Purpose | Data processed | Location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hetzner Online GmbH | Cloud hosting and PostgreSQL database | All application data | Germany (EU) |
| Cloudflare | Avatar image storage (R2) and anti-abuse checks (Turnstile) | Uploaded profile images; sign-up request metadata | EU / global edge network |
| Resend | Transactional email delivery | Recipient name and email address, message contents | United States |
| Anthropic | AI-generated summaries in the optional performance review Insights and 1-on-1 summary features | Review feedback or 1-on-1 note content submitted for summarizing | United States |
| Calendar sync and Google sign-in, where a customer chooses to enable them | Calendar entries for approved leave; sign-in identity | United States / global | |
| Slack | The Slack integration, where a customer chooses to connect it | Messages Tempry posts, and workspace directory data used to match accounts | United States / global |
AI processing
Tempry's performance review Insights and 1-on-1 summary features use Anthropic's Claude models to generate a written summary of feedback that has already been submitted. Content is sent to Anthropic only when someone explicitly generates a summary - it isn't sent in the background, and the rest of the product works without it. Anthropic does not use data submitted through its API to train its models.
International transfers
Tempry's servers and database are in Germany, within the EU. Some sub-processors listed above are based in the United States, so using those features involves transferring personal data outside the EU/EEA. Where that applies we rely on the transfer mechanisms offered by those providers, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
